Emma Gennette

One of the 2021-2022 recipients of the AWHF Education Bursary is Emma Gennette.

Emma is studying at the University of Prince Edward Island towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.  Emma says, “I chose to pursue a career in nursing as I have an interest in the healthcare setting. It took me a while to decide which area of healthcare I wanted to choose; however, nursing provides lots of opportunities as a career and still allows me to make a difference in people’s lives. Following completion of my degree at the University of Prince Edward Island, I hope to hold a position as an emergency department RN.”

The AWHF wishes Emma all the best in her studies at UPEI and looks forward to seeing her achieve her choice of career.
