GEMMA TOMPKINS

“Being able to help people and constantly be learning really reinforced my choice to go into nursing.” -Gemma Tompkins

The Annapolis West Health Foundation partnering with the Annapolis Community Health Centre Auxiliary is pleased to offer Gemma Tompkins an education bursary for the school year of 2018-2019. Gemma is studying at Saint Francis Xavier University in the Bachelor of Science in the Nursing Program.
Gemma has a heart for serving others. “I chose nursing, as I really wanted to go into a field that helped and cared for others, made a difference in peoples lives, had continuous education, and is in a hospital setting.” Gemma’s long term goals are to be a Nurse Practitioner or go into Midwifery in the province.
With much gratitude Gemma accepted this bursary to assist her in her studies; which is the first step in her long term goal of becoming a nurse.
The Annapolis West Health Foundation and the Annapolis Community Health Centre Auxiliary are pleased to offer Gemma this education bursary to help her along in her studies and wish her much success.
