Since the opening of the Fundy YMCA in 2012, the Annapolis West Health Foundation has provided financial support to help with programs at the Fundy YMCA. That’s because the Fundy Y, as it’s often called, plays a significant role in the health and well-being of residents in Annapolis West and surrounding communities.

The Fundy YMCA has the expertise and staff to deliver programs that are a perfect fit with the Vision of the Annapolis West Health Foundation. The many and diverse programs at the Fundy Y include activities for tots and parents, leadership programs for teenagers, after school care for children and a variety of pursuits for seniors.

In 2015 the Foundation and the Fundy YMCA, initiated a formal partnership, which ensures sustainable funding from the AWHF. This investment will go a long way in guaranteeing that the Fundy Y can continue to focus its resources on programs and services that build and maintain health and wellness.

The Fundy YMCA is dedicated to building healthy lives and healthy communities. You can help us to continue to support this dynamic organization.

People of all ages, diverse physical abilities, facing many different health challenges, find knowledgeable help and encouragement at the Fundy YMCA.

The organization provides more subsidized and assisted memberships than any other YMCA in Nova Scotia. Many programs offered free-of-charge throughout the year are funded in part through the support of the AWHF and other community partners.
